Tahsin, a dynamic CEO, was born and raised in the vibrant city of Chattogram, Bangladesh. He was guided by a steadfast belief in the power of decisive action throughout his illustrious career. His professional odyssey began in 1997 when he joined N.G. Apparels, a renowned local buying house, as an Assistant Merchandiser.
Driven by an unyielding commitment to excellence, Tahsin swiftly ascended the ranks, ultimately serving as Deputy General Manager at Jebsen & Jessen, now Triton Textile, a renowned German-based buying house.
In 2006, fueled by an entrepreneurial spirit and a profound desire to make a meaningful impact, Tahsin forged his path forward by founding CENTRO.


My Journey
Under Tahsin's visionary stewardship, the Centro Group (www.centro.com.bd) has evolved into a global powerhouse, boasting a workforce of approximately 3000 dedicated individuals. With offices strategically located in Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India and the United Kingdom, the group commands an impressive annual turnover exceeding 250 million USD. Specializing in end-to-end solutions encompassing design, sourcing, and manufacturing for the global apparel industry, Centro Group's influence resonates across continents. Notably, the group proudly owns two cutting-edge garment factories in Bangladesh and maintains an extensive sourcing network spanning Asia.
Tahsin's impact extends far beyond corporate endeavours. As a director, he plays a pivotal role in steering the success of the Sirajganj Economic Zone (www.sezbd.com), a ground-breaking private green economic initiative poised to catalyse local and foreign investments, while simultaneously creating an impressive 500,000 new job opportunities.
Acknowledged for his contributions to the business landscape, Tahsin received the prestigious CIP (Commercially Important Person) Recognition from the Bangladesh Government in 2023, a testament to his influential role in driving economic growth and development.
Furthermore, Tahsin's commitment to personal and professional growth is exemplified by his completion of the
Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School, his dedication to continuous learning and excellence.
In his personal life, Tahsin fulfills the roles of a devoted father to his cherished children - Afrida and Sharar, and a loving husband to his wife - Maqsura.
Beyond the confines of the corporate world, Tahsin's passion for long-distance running shines brightly, as evidenced by his conquest of both the prestigious London Marathon and the iconic New York Marathon. With an ambitious goal to complete all five major World marathons, Tahsin embodies resilience, determination, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
